The minimum fundraising target for Moving Mountains is £1,395.00 per person.

Our Medical Camps in Kenya are Moving Mountains trips. The total cost for the trip is paid by fundraising through the likes of BT MyDonate so when you are booking please DO NOT make a deposit payment at the checkout, select either bank transfer or cheque for your 'Payment Method' before clicking the 'Make Payment' button, that will allow you to complete the booking process without making any payment.

One of the easiest ways to raise the funds is by setting up a BT MyDonate fundraising page, which automatically adds gift aid to donations from UK tax payers. You can do this through our Medical Camps events page (just click on the 'Start Fundraising' button on this page and sign up or log in, if you're already registered with MyDonate). Any gift aid raised through MyDonate can be put towards your fundraising target. So for example, if you raised £1,000 and it was all donated through MyDonate by UK tax payers then a further £250 is added automatically, helping you reach your target. Please see the fundraising pages for information and guidance on using MyDonate and raising your target.

All funds will go towards the following;

  • All the medication / medical equipment required for the camp and it's transportation to the location of the Medical Camp

  • Qualified local doctors, dentists, pharmacists and medical staff salaries and their food, accommodation and any travel required

  • Medical Camp logistics, planning, local promotion and staffing

When you book with Moving Mountains you're given your own secure online account which you can access 24/7. Through this account you can edit your booking, add flight, health, insurance and dietary details, however please DO NOT make any payments through your account - this is a Moving Mountains trip and as such all funds need to go to the charity, not Adventure Alternative.
